Hello Beautiful Humans,
I’m so confused. I feel like someone has just pressed a giant pause button on time and the last two weeks have felt like an eternity… and yet each day seems to slip by without enough time in it to get anything productive done!
Our sanity has once again been saved by our next installment of Aunty Chrissie’s backyard Adventures. Today’s adventure had the girls decorating and filling up their very own nature treasure boxes! Jo couldn’t find something round that ended in a lengthy discussion on how to fit their soccer ball into their treasure box by deflating it but came to the conclusion that: 1) it wouldn’t fit and 2) it’s not natural!
Our exercise for the day consisted of a long walk where the girls took turns being the leader. Yes we walked around in circles for over an hour but saw some pretty things and a dead fish. Perhaps we need to add navigation and wilderness survival to our Rainbow Glitter Sparkle School’s curriculum!
The Girls school asked if the kids could send in a photo of their Easter Hat so they could put together a virtual easter hat parade. Every year we have recycled a ridiculously cute egg cut-out so we spent the afternoon repainting and dancing in the sunshine!
I told the girls to go outside and run around today and they took me very literally!
It’s been a busy couple of days and now I’m going to add a shameless plug for Envelope of Awesome!!! Go buy Envelope of Awesome for all of your kids! The girls opened their April envelope this afternoon and spent hours drawing/coloring and then cutting out all of Daddy’s pictures and scattering tiny bits of paper all over the house!! Envelope of Awesome really is AWESOME! (Minus to tiny bits of paper all over the house…. but that is what awesome vacuum cleaners are for!)
Go Sign up to Envelope of Awesome…. just kidding… kind of!
Until next time (probably not everyday because I will need plenty of time fulfill all my new Envelope Of Awesome orders… He he he). Stay Happy and Healthy and Home! Also wash your hands one more time. It can’t hurt.
Cass
